David Lu brings deep business expertise to support smooth and efficient operational administration at CED&P. Furthermore, his strong investment analysis as well as financial modeling experience allows him to help create educational materials and lead competition program evaluations. David also contributes his perspective from his time in banking and investment roles to educate our students about the financial sector through enrichment initiatives.
David holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University. He is an Executive Director in the Corporate and Asset Finance Group at investment bank, Nomura, focused on principal private credit for special situations, direct lending, contract monetization, and specialty finance. David is based in Nomura's New York City office. Prior to joining Nomura, David worked on private investments and capital solutions for middle market companies at Brightwood Capital Advisors. Preceding, he specialized in mezzanine opportunities of middle market private equity investments at Audax Group. David also has previous experience at hedge fund, Helios Advisors LLC.
